Executive Biography.

Pat O'Mahony is the Managing director of Advanced Technology Products with complete responsibility for the day to day and strategic management of the business.

In 1986 He felt there was an opportunity to sell static control equipment to a wide variety of industries and since he had some expertise in this area started Advanced Technology Products. Pat O'Mahony met with the people from Simco and signed an exclusive agreement with them to market and distribute their products in Ireland. Complimentary products were added by way of Cleanroom consumables and corona treatment equipment.

He first operated from his home and subsequently moved to a small garage in Mallow Street, from there the company moved to a 3000 sq ft warehouse in Ballysimon. Occupied another adjacent unit in Ballysimon until July 2004 when the company moved to the current location with 15,000 sq ft of available space.

Pat O'Mahony started life as an apprentice electrican and completed his junior trades. Pat O'Mahony moved from there into electronics and studied and qualified as a telecommunications technican. He worked for a number of years in the electronics industry as a quality control manager, where he managed a department of 35 people before setting up Advanced Technology Products.

Pat O'Mahony is a member of committe of the Irish Cleanroom society.

Pat O'Mahony was born in Limerick. He has two children ages eight and five. Pat has an interest in formula 1 motor racing and waterskiing. He has 3 brothers.
