What is a hot bar?

Hot ("nonshockless") static eliminators are designed for greater efficiency in certain restrictive applications involving extremely high charges or dirty environments.

The high voltage power supply is coupled directly to the emitter points. Hot static eliminators should only be used when contact with personnel is unlikely and there are no flammable materials present.

The emitter points of this SIMCO RSS circular anti-static bar are directly coupled to the high voltage (a hot bar).

Its suited for being installed in places which may be subject to heavy fouling. Available in two types: ½" SS and ¾" SS.

Available in sizes from 10cm up to about 4 meters.
